lovely staff historic rooms convenient communal areas outdated bathroom yellow enamel uncomfortable bed
the staff was lovely and very helpful. the hotel itself is a sight! the rooms and the entire hotel are historic. i found the provided communal areas quite convenient.
the bathroom was in desperate need of updating. i noted yellow enamel coming off the bath. the bed was soft and totally uncomfortable.

the location was central. it was very easy to reach various points of interest. the staff was helpful and willing to share stories of paranormal activity..
the bathroom cleanliness needs improvement. i noticed some areas needed attention. also, the breakfast quality was not up to par for me. the scrambled eggs tasted bland..

The staff offered very friendly service! i really liked learning a bit about the building's long history . the location is ideal. It made exploring easy. chris is a legend

my carpeted room felt lovely and featured an attractive timber-framed design from around the 16th century. i liked the comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities. the very nice ensuite bathroom. original door frames were visible too.

the hotel boasts an excellent location, as many attractions are really close. i liked the proximity to historical sites and the convenience of nearby transportation. this made navigating the area quite simple, for me.
